Originally from Juncos and Humacao, Anais, an accountant, and Adrian, an engineer, decided to pursue a dream. What seemed like a challenge for Anais—keeping up with her curly hair while being a busy mother—became a passion and an opportunity to give back to others. Textura & Rizos was born in 2021 with the goal of teaching others and impacting the lives of many who, like Anais, found no specialized options to care for their natural curly hair.

In the beginning, we started by servicing people at home, washing their hair with any available option—and yes, even garden hoses. Step by step, we continued striving to improve, educating ourselves, and always looking for ways to innovate. In 2024, we took a leap of faith and founded Textura & Rizos Salon in Aguadilla. Filled with dreams and ideas, our customers warmly welcomed our newly created space—a place where people come and feel free to be themselves. A space of peace, joy, and warmth.

Part of our mission is to create a complete experience so that customers not only leave looking their best but also feeling better and happier than when they arrived. In 2025, we opened our online store, Textura & Rizos Collection, to bring the same high-quality products found in our salon a little closer to you.
